‘Vibhuti’ (Supreme)

Our E – magazine

With the quick paced advancements in the field of technology and communication, the way we communicate with people is changing. While we, as adults, struggle to keep pace with the ever-changing information technology, children adapt to it like fish to water. Every new advancement in this field, brings its own set of challenges along with advantages.

At school, we have to be alert and anticipate how technological advancement will impact children behaviorally, emotionally and cognitively. Also we constantly strive to keep pace with the changing trends in education and incorporate new ideologies while planning the curriculum, the teaching methodology, student activities as well as, parent programmes.

Four years back we experimented with converting Vibhuti, our school magazine, into an e-magazine. We received an overwhelming response to it and also appreciation for our efforts to go the eco-friendly way. Since most students spend a lot of time on the internet, what better way to reach out to them than through our website and the e-magazine!

In this issue of Vibhuti, we bring you articles under ‘Student Expressions’ – a selection of articles from the class magazines. The magazine provides an opportunity for students to showcase their written expressions. Our regular feature ‘Budding Artists’ displays the artistic talent in VBS.

I hope you enjoy reading the articles as much as students enjoyed writing it. Happy Scrolling!
